Questions about an individual study
Questions about the methods, results, or interpretation of an individual study should be directed to that study’s corresponding author. Use the database’s Sources view to identify the associated publication or patent.
Database coverage and contributions
The curators welcome reports of relevant studies or patents that may be missing from the database. Researchers may also propose their own unpublished data for consideration in a future release.
For database-wide corrections and proposed additions, contact the corresponding author of the associated Molecules review article. The Citation page is the canonical location for the article’s publication link and full citation.
When contacting the corresponding author, include a DOI, PMID, patent number, database record identifier, or other source information where possible. For unpublished data, describe the provenance, permission to share, preferred attribution, and publication status. Do not send confidential, personal, or patient-identifiable information.
Submissions are reviewed for relevance, evidence, permissions, and data quality. Acceptance is not automatic. Approved corrections and additions will appear in a later versioned release rather than silently changing an archived release.
